About The Paediatric Nurse
The Paediatric Nurse is a career and education resource for pediatric nurses and aspiring pediatric nurses. We publish straightforward, sourced information about salary expectations, training pathways, certification requirements, accredited programs, and pediatric nursing specialties. We do not publish clinical or medical advice.
Editorial standards (summary)
Every article is reviewed by a credentialed registered nurse before publication. Every page cites at least three sources, with at least one from an authoritative body — the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), a state or national nursing board or certifying body (e.g., ANCC, PNCB, AACN), an accredited nursing program, or a peer-reviewed journal. Every article shows its author, reviewer, credentials, and the date it was last reviewed.
Our full editorial standards document details our sourcing rules, update cadence, correction policy, and the review workflow.
The review process
No page on this site goes live without editorial review. A first draft is produced (by a staff writer or our in-house research tooling), it is checked against the sourcing requirements above, and a credentialed reviewer signs off by name and credential before the page is published. The reviewer's name and credential appear on the page. If we cannot source a claim, or cannot get sign-off, we do not publish.
Who runs this
The Paediatric Nurse is operated by Cannappy LLC.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links on this site — particularly on pages covering nursing degree programs, scrubs, and exam preparation materials — are affiliate links. When you click one and ultimately enroll in a program or purchase a product, we may receive a referral fee at no extra cost to you. These relationships never influence editorial content: a school is not recommended because it pays a referral fee, and we disclose the relationship inline wherever it applies. See our full disclosures page.
Corrections and feedback
